Paldy Nascimento is a longtime Maui Food Bank volunteer who has been serving homeless, disadvantaged and needy individuals on Maui for decades. She is a gentle, yet fearless, outreach worker. Her mission: seeking out those in need of food or other necessities. She has encountered, built relationships, and maintained friendships with many hundreds of people in the Maui community over the years. Paldy is the embodiment of selfless giving, selflessly donating hundreds of hours of her time to the Maui Food Bank. She is always respectful and kind to the marginalized and impoverished, helping ensure that they receive the help they need. She considers it a privilege and honor to be able to serve. Paldy is truly a unique individual and most deserving of recognition of her volunteer efforts. Her contributions to the community are indeed timeless and invaluable.
