Shantel Longboy is a great friend and a great leader: A student volunteer with Best Buddies at Maui High for the past four years, Shantal has served as The Chapter President of Best Buddies Hawaii for three years in a row. In that time, Shantel has grown her school chapter by nearly 40 percent to more than 100 members. In their nomination form, Best Buddies noted that Shantel’s focus on quality has helped her build a support team of officers to bolster this strong Chapter, which was named the Most Outstanding School Chapter in the state of Hawaii two years running.
