We welcome you to train as a Docents to volunteer in the Visitor Center for The Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary located at 726 S Kīhei Road in Kīhei. 🐋We have many exciting exhibits focusing on humpback whales, Hawaiian wildlife and culture. This National Marine Sanctuary also has interactive kiosks, educational games, and keiki activities.Volunteer shifts run each day from 9:45-12:00 and 12:00-2:15, typically with 2-3 volunteers working together at a time. The main role for docent volunteers is to interact with and educate visitors about the humpbacks and other wildlife.Volunteers go through a training and shadowing process to work in the Visitor Center.
