Leilani Farm Sanctuary depends on the commitment of caring volunteers to keep its rescued animals healthy and safe, and that’s just what Volunteer Hero Valerie Bromberg brings to this valuable organization. Twice a week – every week – she picks up donated produce from local grocery stores and delivers it to feed the sanctuary’s chickens, goats, pigs and other rescued livestock. In addition, Valerie also volunteers two mornings every week to tend to the animals, providing them with the loving care they so need and deserve. Volunteers like Valerie make a huge difference in the lives of these sanctuary residents, and help Leilani Farm Sanctuary fulfill its mission to ease the suffering of neglected animals.
