Running an animal rescue takes dedication, hard work and a warm heart, and that’s just what volunteer Alan Takeda brings to the Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation. A true animal lover, Alan has volunteered with this organization for years, helping run numerous adoption events, caring for the animals and training new volunteers. His commitment to this great organization’s mission has helped with countless animal adoptions, foster care and even relocations to other islands. Thanks to volunteer heroes like Alan, Maui’s pet overpopulation problem, and animal suffering, is lessened.
